The graph gives information on the amount of air pollution in London during the period from 1600 to 2000.

According to the information, the levels of both pollutants formed a similar pattern over this period, but there were always higher levels of Sulphur dioxide than smoke in the atmosphere.

In 1600, pollution levels in London were slightly low. However, over the next hundred years, the amount of Sulphur dioxide rose to almost 700 micrograms per cubic meter, while the level of smoke rose gradually to about 200 micrograms per cubic meter.

Between 1700 and 1900, the level of Sulphur dioxide continued to grow, although there were some fluctuations in this trend. They reached a peak in 1850, at roughly 900 micrograms. Smoke level increased a little more sharply at the same period and peaked in 1900, at about 500 micrograms. Throughout the 20th century, the amounts of both pollutants fell dramatically, to almost zero at the end, though there was a great deal of oscillation within this fall.

Thank you so much!
