The line graph reveals information on the populations of India and China in 2000 and shows how they will change in the future.
It is clear that the population figure for India is going to rise considerable during the 50-year period. Meanwhile, China’s population will peak in 2030 and then will begin to fall.
In 2000, there were more people living in China than in India with 1.25 billion and 1 billion correspondingly. Until now, there has been a significant rise in the number of Indian citizens at about 0.3 billion. Over the same time, China’s population has increased to roughly 1.4 billion.
According to the graph, the population in India will grow more rapidly than in China. Moreover, the experts who undertake the research predict that both countries will gain the tantamount figure to 1.45 billion by 2030. After that, the number of Chinese citizens is likely going to drop slightly to 1.4 billion in the year 2050, while that number of India will probably increase and reach 1.6 billion.
