The picture shows two proposed locations (S1 and S2) for a new supermarket in a town called Garlsdon.
The major difference between two locations is that S1 is out of the town, whereas S2 is in the town center. Moreover, the sites can also be compared in terms of distance to the main roads, the railway and three smaller towns.
Looking at the information carefully, S1 is in the countryside to the north west of Garlsdon, but it is close to the housing area. S2 is also close to the residential area which is surrounded be the countryside and contains the town center inside.
There are three main roads from Hindon, Cransdon and Bransdon to Garlsdon town center. However, this is a no traffic zone, there would be no approach to S2 be vihecles. By contrast, S2 lies on the main road to Hindon, but people who live in Bransdon and Gransdon would be more difficult to visit. Both supermarkets are next to the railway that works through Garlsdon.
