The pictures show how the house design in cool climate is dissimilar to that one in warm climate.
The most considerable difference between houses designed for cool and warm climates is in the shape of roof. The designs also differ in terms of the windows and the use of insulation.
It can be seen that the cool climate house has a high-angled roof which allows the sun to shine directly through the window. On the other hand, the roof of the warm climate house has a peak in the middle and it overhangs to shade the windows. Insulation and thermal building material are used for reducing heat loss in cool climate, otherwise insulation and reflective material prevent the heat from entering the house in warm climate.
In the end, the cool climate house has one window which faces the direction of sun, while the warm climate house has windows on two sides which are shaded. At night if the two windows are opened, the house designed for warm climate can be stored heat removed.
