It can be obviously seen that women from 25 years old in Australia had a more regular habit of doing physical activity than woman did. On the contrary, there was higher proportion in sporty men falling in 15 to 24 age group, compared with the figure for women of the same category.
More than the half 15 -to 24-year old men in Australia do physical activity regularly , nearly 5 % higher than the proportion of the women in the same age. During next 20 years, the proportions of male doing exercise for fitness experienced a gradual drop by 13.3% while the figure for the opposite gender slightly rised to 52.5 %.
By 65 years old, the percentage of men who considered physical activity as their personal habit increased insignificantly to 46.7% after reaching the lowest point in 35 to 44 age group. In stark contrast, the figure for women in their forties and upper fluctuated around 53% until remaining nearly the same as those for men (47.1%).
