please help me with checking me motivational letter
Hello to all members,
I would be grateful if someone could check this and give me suggestions about what I should change (correct mistakes). It's really important to me. The letter should contain A one-page letter giving your reasons for applying to the programme, i.e. background, course work in progress, educational objectives.
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to show my deep interest to apply for Bachelor Degree Programme for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies-Criminology at the University of xxxx.
I have graduated high school in my hometown called Kumanovo in 2012. During high school I learned subjects which are related to this programme as Sociology,History,The basis of law and got high marks. I decided to apply for this programme as it’s perfectly fits my interest and provides me knowledge and experience which I am looking for.
My ultimate goal is to be a police officer , so I can contribute to society, help people who are in need, the issues the societies everyday deal with. I will be benefited by the presence of students from the multicultural backgrounds at the University that will enable me to share a compare several social issues.
Why University of xxx? One of the reasons is that the University of xxxx offers a specialised insight into aspect of global issues about the different views on the cause of the crime and much more where I will be able to gain deeper theoretical and practical knowledge. Other reason is that the University has worldwide reputation for producing outstanding graduates throughout it’s faculties. Moreover, last year I had the chance to visit Norway and the campus of the Criminology, I was fascinated by the conditions you offer, warm climate, a pleasant campus where I will enjoy my studies.
Finally, I consider this opportunity as the most beautifull experience I can have, not only for the beautifull places and cities xxxx has, but because xxxxx is an example to follow for those who live in developing countries like me. I am aware of the highly competitive demands of this degree programme, but I am confident that I have the ability, ambition, motivation and my background to exceed the requirements and do my best to excel within the Criminology programme.
