Please help me with analysing these sentences!

Hi guys. I'm doing Contrastive analysis and I could use some help. Can someone tell me grammatical difference between these sentences and which one is more correct and why. Thanks in advance.

1. Is everyone going to buy their own food? Do their own cooking?

2. Will everyone buy food for themselves? Cook for themselves?

They are both correct if, as most people do in everyday language, you accept that "their", "themselves" etc. (plural) can refer to "everyone" (singular). "going to" is probably more likely than "will" here.
