Please, help me with an abstract for my thesis !
Hi everybody, please could you check out an abstract I wrote for my thesis ? I quess a made quite a few mistakes. This paper is really important to me and I have nobody to help me. Thank you very much for your help !
Studies on the Intermediate Spoken Chinese Teaching and Skills Training of Chinese major in Vietnam'sHo Chi Minh City
Abstract
The ultimate goal of teaching a second language in its spoken form is to foster the communicative abilities of students in assistance of all the resources needed in order to achieve this goal. Such as teachers, students and teaching tools. However, currently there are not only many postitive aspects with regards to the teaching of spoken chinese on intermediate level , but also some unsatisfactory points.
By combination of the quantitative research and qualitative analysis, this paper conducted a survey to the existing state of learning and teaching of intermediate spoken Chinese in three universities in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam, and finally draws some conclusions based on the statistical analysis . It not only confirmed the achievements made while teaching intermediate spoken Chinese in Ho Chi Minh City, but also pointed out some flaws in its teaching process, such as the inappropriate teaching methods, unclear teaching objective and unsuitably quick tempo resulting in inefficiency. Besides, the emotional factors, communication strategies and learning strategies of students are also insufficient; the existing materials also do not completely meet the teaching needs.
For the situations above, the paper renders several possible recommendations and improvement strategies for Teaching and Training of Intermediate Spoken Chinese in Ho Chi Minh City in the future.
