Please help me understand.

What does the phrase " issue of yours " mean in this sentence.

We are working on the issue of yours .

Someone told me it actually means "child of yours", is it correct ??

Top answer

" It means "We are working on your problem" or "We are working on your complaint". "issue" can mean children on a rare occasion. That is most likely not the meaning here.
