Letter Writing

please help me to write a formal confirmation letter

we are buying somethings from a company. I have recieved the proforma invoice and they ask for a formal confirmation letter before they start producing.

I am going to write it on the company paper with full details of name and adress. Then how should I start and finished the letter?
