[Please help me to revise it]Should people always tell the truth?
Nowadays, honesty becomes one of the most impotant factors between two people's communication and relationship. Therefore, some people may believe that being honest is the most vital at any time in any relationship between individuals. Personlly, this viewpoint is not appropriate becasue of the following reasons. The first reason that I believe so is that people's words may be affected by the specific situation. If one tells the truth in this situation, his words will definitely hurt others. My uncle, Iack Senthil, for example, told lies when looking on my grandama in the hospital. When my grandma asked whether her illness is severe, my uncle smiled and said " It is just a kind of common illness" to her. In fact, she got cancer several years ago. But she did not know the truth until she left this world. We can obviously see that people in this situation are absolutely not spposed to tell the truth. Apart from this factor, there is another significant aspect that we should not ignore,- that is, the secret. Our friends' or relatives' secret, though, are always truths, we should not leak these secrets to others. The story of my classmate Kasper is a case in point. One night after class, his girlfriend told him that she did not like her gymnastic coach, but she had to attend her gymnastic classs and pretended to be fond of her coach. Even though Kasper knew this secret, he never talks about this with others. Still, some people may hold their original idea. They think telling the truth can enhance the sense of trusting between people and contribute to the social well-being. Our society will become phamonic as the result of individual's honesty. Moreover, honesty can lessen the risk of accomplishing a program and boost the productivity, which, in the end, revolutionize the atmosphere in sociiety. Besides, telling the truth will reduce the criminal rate because people give their real ideas and stop suspecting. Well, telling the truth has both advantages and disadvantages. We must justify and balance the specific situation and think over the possible result. Then we can make a correct choice. Thus, as I said before, telling the truth is not the most important in any relationship.
