The pie charts illustrate 5 main reasons that students considered when applying to a particular university in UK during 1987 - 2007. There are similarities and differences in students' concerns through 30-years period.

The first similarity is that finding suitable degree courses is the most consideration with 35% and 37% vote in 1987 and 2007, respectively. Quality of resources is also relatively important which accounted for 21% in 1987 and 17% in 2007 when choosing the school.

The 3 remaining reasons are fluctuate through 3 decades. While students in 1987 thought that choosing a university with good sports and social activities which placed the third important reason. Students in 2007 found that reason was the least important one with just 6%. The quality of teaching is the same status with previous point that only 8% students in 2007 considered its importance while 15% students in 1987 thought that it was quite vital. On the other hand, the least reason considered by students in 1987 is that the university was close to parental home, however, this is the second placed important reason chose by students in 2007 with 22%.

In conclusion, there are changes in thinking about choosing a particular university in UK during the period. However, students in both year thought that suitable degree courses are the most crucial consideration.

The names of some states need the before them, when used in sentences. These include the UK, the Czech Republic, the UAE and the USA.

The first word should be in or during. The rest would be better as this 20-year period.

The last word should be university. This is because in the UK, the word school when used generally, means places where children go to receive a basic education. Unlike in the USA, it is not a synonym for universities in general.

(This next sentence does not belong in the first paragraph. It talks about the information on the chart. Put it in the second paragraph.

There are similarities and differences in students' concerns through 30-years period. (wrong - you do not know what happened in 2001, 2004 or 1992, so you cannot use "through". You only have two points in time, and nothing between them.)

The two pie charts, one for 1987 and the other for 2007, compare the primary reason that students gave for selecting a particular university in the UK. In particular, these charts give the proportion of students who selected each of the following five reasons as their primary selection criteria: quality of resources, suitable degree program, proximity to home, teaching quality and the university's sports or social program.

Overall, the most popular reason was the same in both years, that is the degree program, selected 37% of the students in 2007, and 35% in 1987. The second place choice differed though. In 2007, being close to home was second, picked by 22% of the students, compared to only 10% in 1987. In that year, it had the lowest number of picks compared to the other four reasons.. In second place in 1987 was the quality of resources, at 21%, similar to the value of 17% in 2007. One significant difference is the importance of sports and social programs. It was a much more important criterion for the 1987 students (cited by 19%) than for the 2007 students (only 6%). And about twice as many students in 1987 picked teaching quality as those in 2007, 15% and 8%, respectively.
