Topic: Nowadays, more and more women decide to have children later in their life? Why? Does the advantage or disadvantage?

Women in modern life is pretty dynamic, they do not marry as well as have children soon as they normal did in previous century, i think this have both advantages and disadvantages.

In my opinions, I think there are two main reasons for this trending. Firstly, women’s roles have been changed, because for a long time, there was a prejudice that things women could do and should do were house chores and raising their children, so they tended to marry and have kids at young age, otherwise, they would be considered as irresponsible or uneducated women. However, here in modern life, they absolutely have rights to do whatever they want, especially going out to work and implementing their dreams, like men do; as a result, the more time they spend on developing career and themselves, the less time they think about giving birth of a child. Taking care of a child, as a full-time job, will keep women from working and likely to be an obstacle on their career path. Secondly, the living expenses as well as expenses to raise children such as food, beverage, clothing, school fee, etc are much expensive compared to the old days so that many women decide to have children only when they can fully afford good living conditions for their kids, that the reasons why the must to work hard at their 20-30s age and have kids later.

Eventhough giving birth later also has disadvantage, particularly in two problems below. Firstly, according to scientific research, women should have their first child before age of thirty, because it will be benefit for health of both the mother and the child. Secondly, giving birth later can cause many social issues, for example, old people will be the main sources of work force labor, it can result in a lack of young labor in the future and affect to the economy development.

In conclusion, women giving birth later in their life have both advantages and disadvantages, however, I think the most important to remember is that the women has entire rights to decide whenever they will have children.
