Dear Mr. XXX,

my name is Alessandro Fabio XX, and I am writing you to answer to your ANNOUNCEMENT published on SITE with code CODE. I am a Computer Engineering student at Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy, and I expect to graduate within 18 month.

NELL'AMBITO of “Erasmus Placement” program, I would like to serve an internship of a lenght of about 3-6 months in your company, preferably after February 2009. For this reason I attached a copy of my Curriculum Vitae to this letter.

The idea makes me enthusiatic because I am a dynamic person, active, open-minded to new experiences, enterprising. I have got many skills in team working, and a strong motivation to start this experience.

At the same time with the university, I already did some stage, got some work and attended training courses. In the 2007 I ended the “Cisco Networking” course, which gave me the skills to do the CCNA certification exam; I have been an intern for CRES (a research centre) where I learned how to build mixed networks Linux – Windows and for Software Research where I learned to build Internet websites; I realized also some private works e.g. rosaneronline.it.

Intending to grow my personal culture I attend also piano lessons at the School Music of Palermo, and two years ago I have been living in the USA.

So, I decided to propose myself as an intern to increase and to broaden my knowledge into SUBJECT.

Sincerely,
Alessandro Fabio XX

Hello: The letter is too long to revise word-by-word here. You make a lot of small errors, most of which you can correct by going over an English grammar and usage book. To get you started I'll give you specific suggestions on the second paragraph.

I don't understand the first part. Are you addressing someone? If so, you should put that name in the salutation and nowhere else in
