Please help me to make an aphorism. ''Too many ifs...''

Please help me to make an aphorism. Please edit/correct the following. Let me know of your suggestions, if any.

Too many ifs are the most dangerous enemy of your success. If you cannot do anything about them, then forget them and start a new life as if you were born the day when you realized your mistakes. But if you keep on regretting about the past, then you are going to create new ifs in your life everyday.
