The chart illustrates the data about energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions come from itself in Australian household.
Overall, Australian tended to use energy for heating almost, and the greenhouse gas emission released from water heating was highest.
As we have seen in the first graph, the highest number of energy consumption was heating, with peaked at 42%. It was followed by water heating with 30%. In comparison with energy used for water heating, that of other application less half. While refrigeration and lighting each accounted for 11% for energy used in household, cooling was at 2%.
With the second graph, although the number for the energy of water heating was second- highest, it was the highest source release gas emissions at 32%, while the figure for heating source just 15%. Gas emission come from other appliances achieved 28%, which slightly higher than refrigeration at 14%. Cooling and lighting released gas about 3% and 8% respectively.
