Concert Report of STKN Symphony

This concert it classics II and it take place at Atherton Auditorium on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 8:00 pm. On this concert the conductor is Peter Jaffe and the special guest is Tai Murray, the violinist. When the time is came they started play the first piece in this concert, it called Night on . This piece is the most popular in orchestra tone poem. It the D- Minor and arranged by Rimsky-Korsakov. The tone is seemed like a ternary form to be, because they keep repeated the sound. Then in the middle of the piece all the trombone or woodwind instruments start to play. After that the flute stated to play by themselves and the violin start to play as well. The melody came out is so soft. It made me fell asleep when I hear those soft sounds. The second performance was Violin Concerto in C major, Hob, Vlla/1, by Joseph Haydn. In this performance they only play string instrument and the special guest is coming out in this perform too. Her named is Tai Murray, the violinist. After fist movement the ritornello was follow. played the violin solo and has the piano sound at the background when she plays the violin. I was surprised with Tai Murray because she play the violin without looking the notes. She was amazing in this concert. After she played the violin, cello, and viola start to play but they use they finger to make the sound from the instrument. They didn’t use the bow to play it. That was awesome performance. In this performance you can hear more the ritornello. The aria like violin solo with accompaniment the line rises over to puling repeated the notes. Near to the end of this performance all the string family start to play together.

The thirds piece they play was”Tzigane, Rapsodie de Concert by Maurice Ravel. This piece it also feature Tai Murray. In the begun of this perform; Tai Murray played the solo violin first. With her brilliant sound she play from the violin, it made the audience participated more to this performance. She was awesome play that piece by herself. I can sees many people in this concert was impressed with her. Everyone was kept quite and listened in every single note she play. The opening of this piece was cadenza with the unaccompanied violin. It seems violinist reign unaccompanied over the first four and a half minutes. At this point as the orchestra seems quietly rumbles in to serve as accompanist. Finally the last piece they play was “The Miraculous Mandarin Suite, BB13, op. 19, was created by Bela BArtok. This piece is talk a story about a kind of Freudian allegory of desire begins with three thugs who are hard up for cash. the two-thirds of this piece, is ending at the point where the Mandarin is chasing the girl, right before the thugs begin their attack and so on. The clarinet is the most play in this piece.

Over all the concert was awesome and Tai was the most outstanding in this concert. I really enjoy watching them play those pieces. All the performer do the great job in this concert as well.

Then, in the middle of the performance, ~~piece~~ all trombones or woodwind instruments started to play. After that the flute stated to play b~~y themselves~~(nothing happens themself) and the violin did ~~start to play~~ as well. The melody spreaded ~~came out~~ was so soft. It made me fell asleep when I heard those soft sounds. The second performance was Violin Concerto in C major, Hob, Vlla/1, by Joseph Haydn. In this performance they only played string instrument and the special guest popped-out (appeared, revealed) ~~is coming out~~ in this perform too. Her name is Tai Murray, the violinist. After first movement the ritornello followed. Murray played the violin solo and the piano sound was at the background when she started to play the violin. I was surprised with Tai Murray because she played the violin without looking at the notes. She was amazing in this concert. After she played the violin, cello, and viola started to play but they use they finger to make the sound from the instrument.(rephrase it. it's incredible) They didn’t use the bow to make it sound. That was awesome performance. In this performance you can hear more the ritornello. The aria, like violin solo with accompaniment the line, rose over to pulling repeated the notes. In the end of this performance, all the string family (ensemble) started to play together.

Over all the concert was awesome and Tai Murray was the most outstanding in this concert. I really enjoyed watching them playing those pieces. All the performer do the great job in this concert as well. (rephrase, it's awkward)

I would advice you to make simple sentence. And shorter. I guess there are a lot of pecularities in music terms, thus, you should make more simple construction.

When my childhood I had experienced a tragic life. On night that had changed my family and people life on the village. We live in the camp in the Palawan of the Philippines because we are refugee there. That big accident I will never forget in my life. I remember all the details in the accident happen. On that time I was 7 year old. I had see the big fired in my life I ever seen before. That fired made a lot people suffered. People lost their house and important things in their life were gone as well. It also made our family life up and down. Even though it been fourteen year but I still remember the entire thing in that night. I think that horrible accident will never fade away in my mind.

The accident happens on June 13, 1994 in the Philippines. That time I and my family were in the room and ready to go to bed. Suddenly I hear some voice from outside are screaming and said “Fire”. After I hear that I told to my mom. Mom did you hear something? She said she didn’t hear anything anything, so we try to silence and listen it. When we heard the voice toward us, we did mind at all. We though they just making up for fun. But suddenly we hear the voice louder and louder from outside. So we decided to check it out.

When I was outside, I see the big fire in the sky. I see people carry their stuff and moving around. My mom was frightened and told to her children “just stay here where you are and don’t go anywhere”. After she that she go back to the house to pack our stuffs. My brother was hugged his siblings because he was so scared that we are lost. On that moment I can felt how he so protected to his three siblings. I felt glad that I have a responsible brother like him. My mom was only one are packing out stuff because on that time my dad was in another city. It took like two to three hours to get there by plane. We were so scared because the fire getting to close to our house but my mom did out yet.

When my mom gone packing everything we all five people carry the stuff and run, but we didn’t know where to run to. In our village is near to the airport, so we run toward there. When we reached there we hugging each other and star to cry. I see lots people are screaming for help because they didn’t carry all the important things in their. Some people have nothing in their hand. They lost everything and all the money they had been saving for many years. After couple hours of fired, the firemen came. On that moment I was mad at them because they didn’t come when the fire started; how come they just came after the fire was stop?

We were lucky found the place to rest at night. My brother was smart he found the big room for us, while people were crying and stared at the fire. My brother goes to search the place. We sleep at the class room. After that accident all the class room people started to make the house to live. So that mean no school to young people goes to. The next morning I and my family go back to the place. All the thing had turn to ash. I saw some people are crying because all things had gone in one. We don’t know who to blame of this accident. All I know that we all save and no one are hurt from his accident. I’m glad that my family are save and survival this hardship. I know this horrible happen will never go away when I growing up.

MEMORABLE DAY

My memorable day was on 29^th Aug – 2010. On that day I was go to mahabalipuram beech with my classmates and child hood friends. We were commuted mahabalipuram by the train. In the train we enjoyed a lot. Coz... Some of my friends were conducted anthyakshari programme and some of my friends were played cards. I was participated an anthyakshari programme.

On that time suddenly TC was came and then he asked show me your tickets. One of my friends was lost his ticket. Then he said to TC sir really I was purchased ticket but it was missed. Tc was thought some time and he said to his don’t commute next time on words with out ticket. On that time he said to TC really lot of thanks to u. After some time TC was came back and he joined with us. He also revised his memorable days.

Then we reached the beech at 10.30 am. We played kabadddi kabadddi in the beech. It was given a lot of enjoyment to us. In the beech some of my friends were remembered happy days movie. Before left that place we went for shopping. And I spent was rs.1000/-. Finally we left the beach at 4.30 pm. And I reached my home after 10 pm.

I saw some people crying because everything was gone. We still don’t know who to blame for this accident. All I know is that we were all saved and no one was hurt from this accident. I am glad that my family are safe, and survived this hardship even though I know I will never forget this horrible accident.
