Please help me to express myself...this is urgent...

Hi, i received this email from someone who just broke my heart, due to his situaiton he has decided that we should go our separates ways now...i am very upset right now and wish i cld write him a nasty email but this is what i ended up writting and i hope you could tweek it for me. He lost his dad overseas, it's been a month and is attending to family issues there, please let me know what i have written is okay...I wish he had a better to tell me and not give me this devasting news after a month....Much apprecited for your help, thanks.

I would have appreciated though if you had given me this news about us either in person or over this phone - that would have been an appropriate way. And I am sorry to know that you feel we should go our separate ways now, that's fine with me since you have made the decision.
