The graph below shows Internet Users as percentage of population in USA, Mexico and Canada from 1999 to 2009
The line graph illustrates the percentage of people using Internet in three different countries over the ten year period from 1999 to 2009
It is clear that the proportion of Internet usage in USA, Mexico and Canada rose over the period. However, Canada and USA were shown to have more people accessed the Internet than Mexico.
In 1999, Mexico had the lowest proportion which accounted for only 5%. Comparing with approximately 10% and 20% in Canada and USA respectively. In 2005, the Internet usage in USA and Canada grew to nearly 70% , while the figure for Mexico just reached about 25%.
In 2009, the figure for Canada reached the peak at almost 100%. The proportion of Internet users in USA which was just about 80% nearly twice as the figure in Mexico.
