Please help me to correct these sentences
Please note that they supplied 6 set of item# 8 and 4 set of item # 9 on the above order. As per the order, we were supposed to receive 4 set for each item but the quantity has interchanged mistakenly, so please aske the supplier to correct the items as per our purchases order

It remains that you have not indicated what to do about the extra sets of #8. Your supplier cannot adjust to the PO unless you send those extras back, so you cannot simply ask the supplier to 'correct the items'.
