TOPIC: People in many countries are encouraged to buy more and more consumer products. Some people think that this development is good for the economy, while others think that it is very bad for society as a whole. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Whether providing great encouragement for consumers to purchase manufactured products brings benefits or drawbacks to the development of the economy is a heated debate. This essay will discuss both views of this affair.

Some people believe that stimulating purchasing and selling process could exert detrimental effects. Firstly, if consumers pay for goods more frequently, the prices have a tendency to be raised. Sellers consider profit as a top priority in business and generous consumers give them what they want. For instance, because Vietnamese parents are always willing to provide almost everything for their beloved children, they have no concern about paying extra money for milk products and therefore the prices of these products are highest in Vietnamese food market. Secondly, the improved process of trade might lead to mass production and therefore manufacturers are likely to focus on the quantity, not the quality of the products. Again, buyers will be affected as they purchase something low quality.

However, it seems to me that the stimulated trade is beneficial for the economy. The amount of money consumers spending on purchasing products will be given to both employers and employees of the factories which provide these things. As a result, this will provide tremendous support for manufacturers to produce more and more high-quality goods. As a circle, the consumers continually pay for these products. One good example is Samsung, which always consider producing top quality mobile phones as a paramount concern, is successfully received a large sum of money from its loyal users.

In conclusion, while buying goods on a large scale might have some drawbacks, I believe that the advantages are much more notable. What every manufacturer needs to do is to provide high-quality services and products, and for consumers, they should not buy goods impulsively.
