In the modern society, one of the most noticeable problems is the effects of urban pollution. First of all, urban pollution is harmful to human’s health. The constant increase in urban pollution leads to not only the movement to urban areas of numerous people to find a job with a good salary, but also the rapid growth of many factories and enterprises whose exhausted fumes result in several respiratory diseases such as lung cancer, bronchitis and so on. The second serious effect is that urban pollution causes global warming. Apparently, global warming is actually a worrying issue and influencing the ecosystem a lot. For instance, global warming threatens the development of some wonders like Great Barrier Reef in Australia since extreme weather events such as droughts or floods happen more frequently and formidably. Lastly, animal habitat, in general, disappears gradually as urban pollution is destroying animals’ life step by step. As an evidence, they are urban birds. Research shows that it is hard for them to live in their nest for a long time because of urban pollutants or hazardous chemicals and they must leave and build their new nests. In conclusion, urban pollution has many bad effects on various aspects of our life, so we need to be aware of it and handle this problem together.
