The biggest threat is not social turmoil but social decay

Social turmoil means serious social conflicts that threaten the basic framework of the regime system, however social decay is like the necrocytosis and defunctionalization of the body of a society. Figuratively speaking, turmoil is like a healthy body was wounded by others, but decay is like their own tissues or cells becoming diseased.

In recent years, the phenomenon of social decay has clearly emerged. The core issue is the power out of contorl. During the past three decades’ process of reform, Although the framework of market economy have established, but power is still the backbone of our society. Therefore the uncontrollable power is the first thing to display in our society, corruption is just its outward manifestation. Local authority has became neither bound from Governmant nor monitoring from local people, meanwhile there is no checks or balances, officials for their own interest of preserving position or getting promoted. at the expense of system and social benefits. Under such circumstances, corruption has become incontrollable and ”ungovernable”.

That decay has spread to all fields of social life. Hidden rules prevail in the society which are even become the basic method for officials and ordinary citizens, the society have become to anomie and it lost its bottom line. strong interest groups are outrageously, the society trends in Sicilism, and interest groups have no respect for anything, therefore, that cause serious erosion of fairness and justice of society. It is a very common phenomenon that people lost their work ethic and professional ethics, the information system of the entire soceity have become highly distorted.
