Further to your email below, please see the attached image of mock-up for the installation of Chinese umbrella on the ceiling.

Here, we didn't cut the handle of the umbrella and we hanged an umbrella upside down from the ceiling using custom-made metal bracket. As per the specs provided, the umbrellas to be hanged on the ceiling at various heights then we have to cut the handle so that we can install them at various heights with small custom-made metal brackets.
