Please help me to correct my sentences
I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to you for given me a leave extension at this time.
As you may be aware, I am going through very difficult time in my life as we have decided to end our marriage life by mutual consent. We filed an application for it.
As planned, I am leaving my daughter in my home town and coming back to resume my work next week. As my daughter is alone there, I can’t work there for a long period. I am, therefore, requesting you to arrange a transfer for me in our office branch at home town where I can work and mange my daughter as well.
