In my opinion, old buildings play a significant role in a nation’s culture also have a very large impact on the development of a country. The following essay will support my opinion with evidence for how important is it to protect old constructions and their role in the nation’s development.
Old buildings have played an important role in the nation’s culture and tradition. Old constructions which are the significant heritages reflect the history of the country. If old architecture was maintained and reinforced effectively, the next generation would be aware of outstanding culture of their country. Furthermore, old buildings have a large impact on teaching history for children because they are real dazzling evidence to help them to memorize history effortlessly. One clear example is Hue Court, which is one of the most famous Vietnamese cultural heritages, lots of school trips come to visit and learn about Vietnamese kings.
As far as old constructions are concerned the develop of the country. The old buildings are preferred more by tourists especially foreigners, for this reason these tourist attractions appeal to thousands of visitors per year. So they bring ton of money for the country’s economy particularly tourism. In addition, historical buildings give us some beneficial opportunities to cooperate and change culture with other countries. For instance, Hoi An ancient town, which is conserved by keeping specific architecture there, attracts many journals and TV programs across the world making film about it.
Old buildings are the core value of the country in cultural and traditional field as well as take part in the process of development. If we replace antique buildings by new ones, the mental, cultural value will disappear and younger generation won’t be interested in history.
