Please help me to correct my essay

The table below describes percentages of home schooled students in the UK in 1999-2004. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown.

The table compares five schooling grades in terms of their percentage of home schooled students from 1999 to 2004 inclusive in the UK.

It is clear that significant changes are saw in all grades over the period of 5 years. Overall, kindergarten has by far the most students those choose to study at home.

In 1999, the proportion of home schooled students in kindergarten was 2.4 % while this figures for the remaining grades was just around 1.5 to 1.6%. Over following 2 years, figures for kindergarten and grades 3-4 increased gradually, to 2.6% and 1.8 % respectively, while a decreasing trend was seen in grades 1-2 and 5-6. At the same time, the figure for grade 7-8 remained stable.

From 2002 to 2004 experienced an increasing trend in the percentage of home schooled students in all grades. In 2004, the figure for kindergarten was highest at 2.9%, following by grades 5-6 and 7-8 at 2.6% and 2.5% respectively. Only 2.1% of grades 1-2 chose to study at home, compared to 2.2% in grade 3-4.
