It is true that social networks such as Facebook or Twitter have been revolutionizing the way we communicate, people now prefer chatting with friends on smartphones to talking face to face with each other. Although many people argue that this mean of communication negatively affects our life, I strongly believe that the benefits outweigh its drawbacks.

I recognize some reasons why opponents of social networks think that replacing face to face contact by chatting via the Internet is not good. It is widely argued that social networks users tend to be isolated from society due to lack of interactions with real life. Facebook-ers are normally thought that they prefer to make friends on visual networks rather than interact with real friends. One more problem is that those who use Facebook or Twitter always see a lack of soft skills such as giving a speech in front of many people. Finally, many health problems ranging from decrease of eyesight to obesity has been found on social network users due to physical activities are substituted by few more online hours.

Apart from above disadvantages, we obviously benefits far more from social networks. Facebook ore Twitter is an amazing tool that helps us to connect with many people worldwide regardless the national boundaries. For example, I can simply make a video call with my sister who are staying in the UK – nearly a half round of the Earth from me. It is also sometimes possible for job seekers to find desirable jobs via social networks due to many recruiters screen users’ profiles to find a suitable candidates for their vacancies. Furthermore, social networks render a way that allow us share our life with friends as well as make it easy to keep in touch with old friends that we don’t have enough time to meet each other in the world that time is golden.

In conclusion, the way we communicate has dramatically changed since the born of social networks and it is indeed advantageous to our life.
