Please help me to construct correct sentences from these phrases.

Hi all!

Could you please help me with the following phrases? I just dont know how to say this correctly.


1. Someone is doing some work. I want to say that he should work with the velocity good enough to have some buffer before the deadline.

2. I want to ask someone to check the email from which this particular discussion has started. Can I say "Please check the initial email?"

3. I want to say that I will work to present someone some date he has asked me about. Can I say "I will elaborate the date?"

4. I dont want to do a quick fix of some issue, I want to resolve it in a stable and reliable way. Can I say "I want to resolve this for a long term"?

5. Some variable is above the value considered normal for it. For example, it is some rate. Can I say "This rate is above the norm?"

6. When someone comes from vacation he usually has to work hard to catch up the things. Can I ask this person "Have you already sorted out your things/debts/issues ?"
