In the past, the human race discovered how to make fire, invented the wheel and laid the foundation for today's printing technology. Although all these facilities proved their great significance to all mankind throughout history, some people claim that the Internet is the most important invention. From my perspective, such a statement is a exaggeration, in spite of the many benefits of the Internet.

The appearance of the internet brings many advantages . First of all, the Internet contains an endless supply of knowledge and information that allow people learn about almost any topic or question. Along with being a resource for studying, this invention also provides news about global issues, or beauty tips , which takes little time to access them. Second the Internet has also changed the way people keep in touch dramatically. Nowadays, instead of having to meet face-to-face humanity can interact through the virtual network. This invention has helped community to overcome long distance, which caused an obstruction in communication. Therefore, corresponding through the Internet is incredibly useful as it helps us to communicate effectively without travelling.

Although the power of the internet can't be overstated , I firmly believe that there are even more valuable inventions. The first is electricity . Before we had electricity, there were not any electronic devices at all. In other word the internet could be of no use if there were no electricity. The second is engines which can be seen in a great diversity of facilities from the old hydropower locomotives to today's luxuriously solar-powered airplanes. If there were no engines, people would have to use animal-powered or human-powered vehicles, which are often much slower than motored ones. The final and most important discovery, from my point of view is phones, which are the physical platform for various forms of digital commnunication . Today, billions are using moblie phone to make calls and send text messenger on a daily basis . There is a much greater number than those using the internet for the same purposes .

In conclusion, the internet has some enormous advantages to the human race, but there are even more significant discoveries. I predict that along with the internet, these three inventions will still be the cornerstones of future lives.
