Please help me to check this Ielts writing task 2: It is now possible for scientists and tourists to travel to remote natural environment, such as south pole. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

Thanks to advancement particularly applied in traveling, human beings now can reach remote areas for both entertaining and research purpose with more ease. While people have different views as to whether it is more advantageous or disadvantageous to take such traveling, personally, I believe that valuable benefits it brings to human beings still far outweigh its limits.

On the one hand, the inclination of visiting remote natural places reveals certain drawbacks that human should not ignore. Firstly, it would be risky and even life-threatening for travelers to visit isolated places as the weather and natural conditions there are often very extreme. For example, in the South Pole, due to its exceptionally harsh climate, there seem few resident creatures that could live here. Secondly, when the number of visitors increases without sufficient awareness of preserving the environment, primitive nature there will tend to be gradually destroyed. Though these are legitimate concerns, I believe, evolutionary advancements and raising human perception about saving the environment would be effective remedies.

On the other hand, such trips do offer human with significant values. From scientist’s perspectives, they are now given more chances to find alternative resources for some which are not available or no longer redundant such as fossil fuels. Eventually, our current pressure of running out of energy will be alleviated. Besides, in terms of tourists’ gains, paying a visit to remote destinations would be a precious experience that not only satisfies their curiosity but also broadens their horizons. These discoveries, therefore, will promote human development in the long run.

In conclusion, to find a way to reduce threats related to lacking natural resources, it’s worthwhile for human discovering inhabited natural regions.
