My answer:
The line graph illustrates the four different types of food people in a European country consumed from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, It is clear that the consumption of beef, lamb and fish together decreased but chicken which significantly increased. Of the four trends, beef had the most fluctuating consumption over this 25-year period.
From the same starting year, 1979, the amount of beef which was over 200 grams was much higher than that of fish, only about 60 grams. However, the figures for chicken and lamb were higher than fish and lower than beef, at under 150 grams and exactly 150 grams respectively.
In the 1979-2004 period, chicken was eaten with the highest point in the graph, around 250 grams. By contrast, the consumption of lamb fell to around 50, compared to about 40 grams of fish in 2004. In spite of having the most consumption in 1983, beef was consumed less after years and ended around 100 grams in 2004.
