The diagram illustrates the process of producing the newest information on the weather so as to make credible forecasts.
There are four main steps in the process of producing weather forecast.
At the first stage of producing weather forecast, incoming information is taken from satellite, radar and drifting buoy. In the second step, satellite photo is produced by satellite. While synoptic chart is created by all of the equipment namely satellite, radar and drifting buoy, the other information just being created by radar is radar screen. After having collected weather data, the process continues with data being analysed from satellite photo, radar screen, synoptic chart. When that stage completes, the weather forecast broadcast is prepared by computer system. At the final step of making forecast programme, weather prediction news is performed under various types of TV newsreader, radio and recorder announcement.
