If you live in Vietnam long enough then you will definitely know how noisy public transportations is, most particularly sounds are generated from passengers, they almost talk anything without caring about other people’s feelings. I am going to talk about my most recent time I overheard someone else’s conversation, that annoyed me a lot since it was such the most annoying sound I have ever experienced on the bus.
If my memory serves correctly, at that time when I took a bus to visit my hometown with a bunch of my friends at the weekend, we were on a crowded bus and a middle-aged woman sitting in front of me received a call. Her speaker was extremely loud.
It seemed that the caller informed this woman that she had won a prize and was trying to transfer the prize money to her. He asked her bank account number. However, the lady soon realized it was just a phone fraud. Instead of hanging up the phone, she swore up and down at the scammer.
Finally, thanks to the negative facial expressions of other passengers, the woman ended up feeling embarrassed, she knew her nuisance.
