The line graph illustrates the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country from 1979 to 2004.

Overall, the consumption of chicken increased gradually. While the figures for lamb, beef fell significantly and fish declined slightly almost all the time.

In 1979, the consumption of beef was the highest, at about 210 grams per person per week. Whereas the figures for lamb and beef were lower at about 150 and 140 respectively. The value for fish was lowest at under 50.

In the period from 1979 to 2004, there was a steady rise of fish consume from 140 to about 250, became the highest consumer. The consumption of beef reached a peak of about 240 in 1982, but it fell sharply to under 100 in 2004. There was a dramatic decrease in the number of lambs was eaten to 70. The figure for fish fluctuated continually around 60 to 45 all the time.
