The line graph compares three enquiries received by the Tourist Information office in one city over a period of six months in 2011.

It is clear that there were a significant change in the number of enquiries received by all three different ways shown on the graph. While person and telephone rose considerably over the 6-month period, the number of letter or email fell steadily

In January, the number of enquiries received in person was close to 800 and around 900 respectively. The following month, both telephone and letter or email fell approximately 100, but received in person rose by around 200

From February to Jun, as both person and telephone started to rise, letter or email began to fall. The number of received by telephone doubled to 800 and in person tripled to 1300. By contrast, received by letter or email fell by approximately 300 over the same 5-month period. By June, the number of enquiries received in person and by telephone had dramatically rose to 1900 and 1600, while the way of receiving by letter or email had fell to 400
