Please help me to check my IELTS task 2

Topic: Online shopping is now replacing shopping in the store. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, online shopping is more popular and gradually replaces some entity stores. In my opinion, although it brings a positive development, shopping in the store could not be totally substituted by shopping on the internet.

There are numerous benefits of online shopping. To begin with, customers are able to purchase products without limitation of space. I would put it down to the convenience of the internet. People only need to connect their laptops or cellphones with the wireless, and then they can reach the websites. In addition, the price of the products which are sold on the internet is much lower then the one sold in the store. This is because online stores would not pay for the rent and also reflect on their prices. For instance, there is a discrepancy of clothes' price between online stores and physical stores due to store rent. Furthermore, customers save lots of time if they shop on the internet. Recently, people are too hectic to go shopping. A salient example is that employees often work hard and work overtime so that they do not have leisure time to hang out with friends and buy merchandises in the store. Therefore, they choose online stores to purchase the things they need.

On the other hand, it cannot be denied that entity stores have some merits. Everyone in the world has different body shapes and it is difficult to find a person who has same shape with the other. Hence, real stores provide a space for citizens to try on the products, especially clothes or shoes. Moreover, customers would feel more assured if they can confirm the fabrics of the products and touch the products by themselves.

In conclusion, when it comes to the issue regarding shopping, I hold a belief that online shopping has a big market. However, physical stores still cannot be ignored.
