It is true that there is an increasingly number of fast food restaurants selling their products in schools nowadays. Personally, I believe this phenomenon has detrimental impacts, particularly on the well being of many students.

There are some reasons why the student’s studying capacity is negatively affected by the junk foods. Firstly, the introduction of fast food chain at school have directly euncouraged children to eat more and more these type of unhealthy foods. The excessive consumption of processed foods lead to the growth of laziness and fatigue of student at their classes since there are a huge amount of calories and fats in those foods. As a result, students are not also able to concentrate well on their lessons, therefore, the final results of those at school are not good as the others who eat balanced school meal. Secondly, many studies proved that overusing junk foods indirectly lower the human brain’s capacity. If student use those kind of foods regularly, their long-term labor productivity will be declined seriously when they will grow up later on.

The overuse of unhealthy foods not only cause metal problems above but also is the mail culprit of many different fatal physical issues. Thesedays, in some developed contries, the more increasing the number of fast food restaurant chains, the more incident of serious health conditions are recorded day by day. Take the US for instance, where student eats hamburger and fried chicken at McDonald’s or school’s canteen on their daily basic, the rate of the obesity and cardiovascular problems are nearly the highest across the world. Moreover, the high level of sugar and unhealthy fats in processed foods have been proving is the main reason of many other potential fatal illnesses.

In conclusion, for some reasons mentioned above, I would argue that the development of fast food restaurant at school is completely negative.
