Discuss both views and give your opinion
Nowadays, an increasing a number of people are concerned about playing electronic and computer games of young people. However, whether, children can learn useful skills by playing computer games or waste their time has caused heated debate. In my opinion, I believe that children can also waste their invaluable time.
On the one hand, young people can squander their time on online games. Children can learn no helpful skills because many games which was designed to create play space to have the gamer engage in the narrative of the game rather than learning cognitive and social skills. In addition, many skills in the games are unless skills in the real world such as the master of gun firing or online poker games can only learn gun skills and gambling skills for children. For this reasons, children can waste a lot of their time on unnecessary skills in the games and have some problem in learning.
On the other hand, video and computer base games can be educational. User or gamer are transported into virtual worlds where are more interesting and engaging than the real life. Beside, these games can help children who play games to improve their imagination and creativity as well as concentration, logical thinking and problem solving skills which are extremely useful skills in the real world.
In conclusion, both arguments have advantages and disadvantages, hence, children should allocate their time appropriately, placing higher priority on their schoolwork first. And, if they play computer games, right guidance is necessary so that they would avoid from addiction.
