It is true that entertainment helps people relieve pressure from work and study. Although modern technologies have been contributing to entertain for people, this writer completely agrees with the idea that people depending on too much technological delight would cause damaging influences on creative thinking.
The writer believes the strongest arguments for negative effects of using technologies such as a lack of the real environment and increasing laziness in their life. Firstly, when users heavily depend on technological innovations, they become less creative compared to the past without supports from technology. As a result, people find difficult to invent a game by themselves in order to obtain pleasure in the best way. Secondly, when enjoying leisure time, some individuals always make sedentary lifestyle. For instance, some children could be lost in a virtual world and they do not want to create something new and they are too busy to concentrate on Facebook or video game instead of hanging out with their friends to do some outdoor activities.
This opposite point of view states that technology can help people to enhance a sense of pleasure from leisure, yet this way of thinking ignores to understand a shortage of being proactive and creative. Initially, people usually use a huge amount time to watch the TV or play video game, impeding their passion in joining physical activities. In contrast, youngsters used to actively participate in teamwork or folk games several decades ago. Furthermore, nowadays younger people usually spend plenty of time on following well-known people from the social network. It will cause a serious consequence of lacking time for academic knowledge and hampering their ability of innovating new ideas.
In conclusion, it is clear that people seem to rely on strongly on technological entertainment, leading to less and less creation and limiting sedentary. Therefore, this writer believes that it is better that individuals take part in physical activities so as to become more intelligent and creative.
