Some people have a different view regarding how the necessity of natural species in the earth impacts on the life of humanity. They argue that exploiting animals for self-interest is acceptable because of the rule of creation. In my personal opinion, it is more important than ever that utilizing and cutting down properly the reliance of human on living creatures should be considered.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that animals have a mysterious and long-lasting relationship with the development of human being. First, the nutrients such as protein, vitamin and fat which only come from the natural resources are necessary for human's survival, so it is natural for people to kill animals for food. Second, sacrificing animals is a sense of religion's belief in many countries. For example, Quang Binh province, the buffalos' fight which is celebrated annually in July is a ancient tradition for entertainment and wishes for fortune and prosperity. Finally, from the scientific perspective, a number of new drugs are tested on animals to secure the safety and effectiveness for human use.
On the other hand, I would side with people who believe that human have no rights to deploy animals for selfish purpose. It is morally wrong that making animals suffer throughout scientific researches. Furthermore, there is no doubt that overexploitation of animals breeds a amount of repercussion for human being. For example, destroying the natural habitat such as forest cause acid rain, El Nino and erosion. The exorbitant cost of recovering environment could be huge for any nations.
In conclusion, I believe that any living species in the world always deserve to live and exist, and governments should invest in science's activities to discover a new alternating solution to serve human use.
