The two maps show how Islip, a town center, will change from now based on its plan of development.

Overall, what stands out from the maps is that Islip will be transformed to become a residential area with many new developments. In addition, a dual carriageway will also be erected, surrounding the town.

If we look at the developments north of Islip, although a line of shops will stay put, there are a number of new additions just north of it, which is now a country estate. First, the main road will be pedestrianized, designating for pedestrians only. Just north of that, from west to south lie a bus station, shopping center, a car park and a new housing area, respectively.

Focusing on the south of the shops, the school and housing which are located far from the main street will be planned to stay on the side of the dual carriageway. The housing, opposite the middle part of the shop line at present, will be relocated to the west of it and the parking space will also be shrunk a great deal to leave space for the construction of a new housing.
