Kindly read through this write up for a scholarship award requesting to state academic and personal achievement.
Growing up as a young boy, my primary objective has always been to acquire an outstanding education of first class and aspire to be the best. My academic performance in class usually ranks between 1st and 3rd. In Jss1 I was the 3rd best student in the school, I took 2nd position in Kingston Academy Mathematics competition In1998 and also graduated from high school with exceptional academic performance and was the best graduating student in Book keeping. I was appointed the social prefect and Editor- in-Chief of Press club in 1997/98.At the University level, I got the Ilapo Community Scholarship award and also the Premier scholarship award by Premier foundation. I graduated with a Second class upper in 2006 and became a chartered economist in 2008.
I was the product champion and target buster of save and fly promo organized by Fidelity Bank in 2009. I Mobilized a deposit of N250 million and exceeded target by 200%. I got the MD recommendation on the Initiative that increased our number of current and savings account by 20%. Overhead cost was reduced by 20% through my cost containment strategy and profit increased by 10% while I was in Baonif Global Investment as the financial analyst and was awarded the best in innovation and design in 2008. As a pioneer and secretary of the Mother and child foundation an NGO dedicated towards empowering widows and motherless children I organised seminars and workshops on investment opportunities and financial planning.
In furtherance to my academic career I intend to make a contribution to the development of my school by undergoing a dissertation of internationally high quality standard that will continually place my school on the cutting edge of research and foster economic growth. However this dream could translate into reality through the privilege of a scholarship award.
