Please help me review my map writing

The maps below show a bookstore in 2000 and now.

The two maps illustrate how a bookstore has changed between 2002 and the present day.

Overall, the store has become more developed with the arrangement of types of rooms and the addition of facilities, especially the top half of the room.

In 2000, there was a vast L- shaped area for two fiction rooms along the entire top wall and half of the right wall. Other types of books were displayed on separate small shelves with cookery, hobbies, art, and non-fiction at the center. However, while the top section of the fiction room has been reduced in size to make space for art, hobbies, cookery genres, non-fiction occupies the right-wall ones. Such rearrangements have made room for additional services, including a new café at the bottom and a reading area with tables and chairs in the middle. In contrast, the left-hand side has shown no change in either location or size of travel room, new books, and service desk.
