Generally, the total amount of people who bought Classical Music albums was the lowest among the 3 genres. In both the Pop and Rock genre, the albums were purchased mostly by male buyers from the 16-24 and 25-34 age range whereas in the Classical category, the predominant percentage was from the 45+ age group.
According to the charts, the percentage of men buying albums, around 30% and nearly 10% in the Pop and Rock genre and the Classical one respectively, was higher than that of women which only accounted for just below 20% in the Pop Music group, slightly above 15% in the Rock one, and only more than 5% in the Classical one. The highest percentage of people purchasing Pop and Rock genre albums was from the 16-24 and 25-34 age group, being around 30% while the lowest one belonged to the 45+ age group with the number of only under 10%. On the other hand, most Classical Music albums buyers were in the 45+ age range, making the percentage to 20%.
