Please help me properly express sentences grammatically

Could you please help me correct these sentences I'm having trouble expressing?

1 I don't want there to be people in front of my house.

2 There is a big difference between what he makes out to be and what he really is.

3 This is one of the most expensive shows/one of the shows that cost the producer the most.

4 She gets aroused more easily/She gets aroused easier.

5 The butter has gone bad. It is/has past it's sell by date. (how to say this?)
6 Just as/Right when the police were going to spot the killer, our TV burned out. We weren't able to see the end the film.
