I'm writing a book report about a ancient general.
I start my beginning with "The book is about ...."
Then I wrote " The general is the most famous person in history..." Correct ?
"He fought with...." "He killed...." Correct ?

Also I need some help in this sentence :
"He has/had the most famous tactical...." has or had ?

When I write about the general, what tense should I use ? present tense right ?
When I write about what he had did, I use past tense right ?

The book is about a chinese general from 2000 years ago. His name is ZhaoYun. He is one of the most famous people in ancient China history, because he saved a baby from enemy base, then he escape the ten thousand troops' attacks with the baby. When he was 70, he killed the four strong, young sons of enemy general. He has the famous fighting skills, but he also has wisdom that other people didn't notice. When he fought a war, the enemies were afraid because of his name. He wore white armor, equipped with long spear, and mounted a pure white horse. He had a nickname called "Victory General" He never lost a war in his life. Some legend also said that he never got any wound from war. He died at the age of 70s. He became a legend to ancient China history.
