Hello guys.
I am trying to write a lyric in English but, I might have some grammar errors and I am not sure if native English speakers get the meanings.
Before you fix my sentences, I let you know the meaning of this lyric.
This lyric is expressing two meanings of stars.
The one is "stars in the sky" and another one is "famous people called stars".
You might see it is singing about stars in the sky. But also, it is including a message of the hope that I wanna be a star like many famous people.
In consideration of the meanings of the lyric, please let me know the errors, something difficult to understand, or any better sentence.
Thank you.
Verse 1:
When the town is in asleep,
Watching the billions of stars.
I remember hoping to shine like them on the sky.
Every time I step up the stairs,
I have stumbled and stopped.
I Have grown up to be the one in that way.
Chorus:
I am taking off with my hope
To the world I haven’t seen.
I am taking off with my all
Toward where the light shines on.
Verse 2:
When the town is in the rain,
Watching the star burning out.
It might have been fighting with itself till the end.
One day, a new star will come.
It wakes the town up again
With forgetting the one we have cried it out.
