Hi It will have to been loss because that would mean not making a profit whereas less could still mean they were making a profit. Does that make sense?? Bye Dave

Dave's not entirely correct; it depends on what is meant by 'cut' (as in what is happening to the dividends). If this means reduced, then the answer is less, however if 'cut' means stopped, then the answer is loss.
