Please help me! On or Forwards?

all students leaving college at the end of terms must leave their address so that letters can be sent ___ forwards/ on.

Thank you so much but in my sentence, " forward" is adj but in yours, it is a verb. "...so that letters can be sent forward" Right?

No. The proper way to say that is to use the verb "to forward". You need ... so that letters can be forwarded, just as Grammar Geek said earlier. It means the same as 'sent forward', but it's more idiomatic.
